Jennifer Anton

Jennifer Anton is the author of Under the Light of the Italian Moon, a historical novel inspired by her Italian family and wartime Italy.  Her writing focuses on women’s lives in WWII Italy, exploring love, survival, and the quiet acts of courage that shape families across generations.

An American–Italian dual citizen born in Joliet, Illinois, she divides her time between London and Lake Como.

In 2006, following the birth of her daughter, Jennifer survived a life-threatening postpartum cardiomyopathy. Soon after, her beloved Italian grandmother passed away. The convergence of those events deepened her resolve to preserve and honor the voices of the women who came before her.

In 2012, Jennifer moved with her family to Milan. That transition—and the search for a home in Italy—was later featured on House Hunters International. That same year, Chicago Parent Magazine published her essay It’s In the Journey, reflecting on the experience of raising children while exploring the world. She later settled in London, building a global career in brand marketing with leadership roles at AB InBev, Revlon, Tory Burch, and La Perla. She continues to maintain a home in Italy, where she frequently returns to work and conduct research.

Jennifer is a graduate of Illinois State University where she was a Chi Omega and holds a master’s degree from DePaul University. She is also an alumna of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Under the Light of the Italian Moon is available from Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
